Buckle up your boot straps for this one folks, the video below is awesome.

CapRadio (@capradio) is reporting on multiple boulders being exploded by CalTrans (California Department of Transportation) that fell onto Highway 50 near Kyburz, California.

Check it out:

CapRadio (@capradio): “Several large boulders fell onto Highway 50 near Kyburz New Year’s Eve during the unexpectedly strong storm that hit the region this weekend.

No vehicles were hit and Caltrans kept one lane of the highway open in each direction after the stones fell. Traffic was held in both directions on Monday while Caltrans blasted the boulders to clear the roadway.

After the boulders exploded and pieces were removed from the roadway, Caltrans reopened Highway 50 in both directions Monday afternoon.”

Tell me that isn’t the most satisfying video you’ve seen in recent memory…

The sounds, the visuals, it’s all just so… perfect.

I’ve watched this clip a dozen times and I plan to watch it a dozen more!
