Bullitt County, Kentucky officers had to laugh when they arrived on scene to an indecent exposure call about a man standing in front of home in a robe with a hose between his legs.
The police immediately recognized the homage to Cousin Eddie of Christmas Vacation and ended up snapping selfies as neighbors snickered at the case of mistaken identity. One even came over with their pet Rottweiler and completed the scene with a stand in Snots.
The homeowner Joni Keeney didn’t intend on freaking anyone out and just wanted to spread a little holiday cheer:
“I just want people to have a good Christmas and get a laugh. It’s been a hit with the neighborhood.”
Next year she plans on adding Clark Griswold hanging off the roof to complete the scene. Well played Joni!
