Mount Bohemia, the ski resort known for nearly 300″ of natural snowfall, no grooming, and no snowmaking has unofficially announced that they intend to open for the season on Wednesday, December 28th!

Bohemia relies completely on natural snowfall, so it’s not uncommon for them to open in January, but bountiful early-season snow is getting things kicked off early.

Here’s the official announcement:

OpenSnow is forecasting 29 inches to fall at Mount Bohemia over the next five days, and it appears that the lake effect cycle is about to be in full swing.
