It seems like every ski resort in the western United States is opening early this season thanks to heavy early-season snowfall, and Deer Valley, UT wasn’t about to miss out on the fun.

Deer Valley will open to the public on Tuesday, November 29th. Here’s the full statement:

“To celebrate historic early conditions, we are doing something “historic” ourselves and opening in November for the first time in decades on Tuesday, Nov. 29, with a special preview ski afternoon for Deer Valley season pass holders only on Monday, Nov. 28.”

According to records kept by OpenSnow, Deer Valley has received more than 60 inches of snow this season.

The natural snow and consistently-cold snowmaking temperatures are the key factors in driving Deer Valley to open four days early.

The resort has not stated which trails and lifts will be running on opening day.
