I’ve seen The Shining a ton of times but never managed to notice this mysterious little detail. Anyone want to venture a guess as to why Stanley Kubrick decided to include a skier in the lobby of the Overlook Hotel despite the manager explaining there’s no skiing? Jack might not have been such a dull boy if he got a few turns in once in a while. Thoughts?
