A ski shop is going to be the hottest bar in Vermont this winter.

After hearing from customers that they would like to see a physical retail store from them, J Skis purchased O’Briens Salon in Burlington, Vermont, and has spent the past couple of months converting the four thousand square foot building. They will have their grand opening on November 12th and 13th at 247 Main Street.

Seven Days Vermont reports that the project is a joint partnership between J Skis and Ski The East, the outerwear and filmmaking brand whose headquarters is also situated near Burlington. The building will feature a retail headquarters for Ski The East and J Skis, a lounge, and a bar.

Drinks will range from soda to IPAs, and snack foods like popcorn and pretzels. The goal of the venture is to create a family-oriented ski and snowboard community hub in Vermont’s largest city.

Throughout the year, there will be movie premieres, outdoor athlete appearances, workshops, and other events.

Jason Levinthal originally started Line Skis in 1995. Line sold to K2, and Levinthal eventually decided to create a new ski brand. That’s when JSkis was born.

The brand is now known for their uniquely designed skis. Some highlights include the Bob Ross and Pit Viper skis.

If you’re around Burlington in the coming months, you should go check this place out.
