Domesticating wild animals, especially bears, usually leads to their demise. Bears who regularly interact with humans will begin rely too heavily on being fed by them.
Here’s a quick PSA for anybody thinking that they too can train a wild bear to do stupid tasks for clout on the internet-Â DON’T DO IT, ASSHOLE.
She claims in the description, “I live in the country surrounded by wildlife and somehow this bear learned to close my front door.”Â
I’m calling bullshit on that. Bears don’t magically learn to close doors. She’s most likely fed this bear dozens of times and has developed a relationship with it. Now, the bear won’t hunt or forage and will rely only on her for food.
People are so stupid. I hate the internet. I’m going for a walk. I need to touch grass. Ugh.
