Adventure films like this are why everyone needs to make a trip to New Zealand at least once in their lifetime. WEST OF WANAKA by Miguel Porteous is a great skiing and surfing edit, as a GoPro 10 and drone shots show what makes New Zealand so special. The concept of the short film is that there’s only one road that connects Wanaka to the West Coast of New Zealand. Traveling with a vintage 1969 Rover, the crew starts their weekend with heliskiing and then heads to the coast for an overnight surfing adventure. The video from Miguel Porteous is below.
