“I cannot stress enough how much this is NOT a tutorial.” – Berm Peak
Berm Peak tends to post some pretty cool stuff on YouTube. I first started watching his stuff a few years back, before I started writing for Unofficial Networks, and since then he’s posted a ton of wacky bike modifications and contraptions, as well as building and opening a public 35-acre bike park. Moral of the story is, I always try to check out his channel to see if something wild was recently posted.
I would say that this double decker Frankenstein mountain bike definitely fits within my boundaries of wild. Though it’s most certainly not a tutorial, I think it’s fascinating to see the process he goes through to design and build this bike, as well as to see the problems he comes across when it’s finished. I’ll also admit, though it seems difficult, it looks like a boat load of fun to ride this thing around. Maybe I’m crazy to believe that, but I stand by it.
