This week, Kimberley gave an update to guests about how the rebuilding process is going. The major parts, which are being supplied by Leitner-Poma, have begun arriving at the mountain. The parts that have arrived so far are “the drives (the electronic devices that control the speed and braking of the lift), the cabinets, and many of the components that will make up the safety and control systems.” This week, the ski resort, Leitner-Poma, and the contractor will have a meeting to sketch out the plan for constructing the new lift control building near the top terminal. Shoutout to Leitner-Poma for being quick to supply the parts, and Kimberley for being transparent about the lift throughout this challenging situation.
