Just came across this neat video from 2016 and thought was worth a share here on Unofficial Networks.
As the title suggests, this 1996 Subaru Impreza Wagon is somehow able to blast out of 30″ of snow without the help of a plow. It doesn’t make it very far, but the fact it’s able to move at all was impressive enough for me.
I’m hoping there are a bunch of Japanese engineers smiling at their accomplishment in building this car back in the late 90s.
imprezin04: “Trying to get my ’96 Subaru Impreza Wagon out of the non-plowed parking lot. Tried to see how it would do without shoveling. I ended up getting a little further but decided not to strain the 350k mile car lol. Car is stock height on Cooper Winter Tires”
Dude probably burned through half a tank of gas just to prove a point, but I respect the hell out of him for it.
Subaru owners get a lot of flack these days for being overly boastful about their cars, but you gotta hand it to them, they are some badass machines.
