Here’s yet another chance for a ski resort to name a run Traily McTrailface. Gore Mountain in North Creek, New York is asking the general public for name suggestions for a brand new intermediate trail that they will be opening for the 2022-23 season. The new “60’ wide trail with grooming and snowmaking capabilities will run alongside the Barkeater Glades and end right before the Roaring Brook Bridge.” The new run on Burnt Ridge Mountain will give skiers direct access to North Creek Ski Bowl from the terrain pod. When the glades aren’t open on Burnt Ridge Mountain, getting to North Creek is not an easy endeavor.  This will prove crucial, as a new high-speed lift and base lodge will be added to the North Creek Ski Bowl for the 2023-24 season. You can give your suggestions on Gore Mountains’ social media pages.
