The skier in the video below went for the unintentional ride of a lifetime when he fell on a groomed slope of Zillertal Arena, Austria.
He claims to have slid 1100 meters (3608.924 ft.), and probably would have kept going if not for the safety netting that finally brought him a halt. He also claims to have been traveling 82 km/h (~50 mph) when he hit the netting.

Dude just keeps going and going and going, and going. It’s crazy. Some self-arresting techniques probably could have gone a long way to slow him down, but thankfully that netting was there.
