Breckenridge’s final day of the winter season will be Sunday, May 15th.
Just like last year, Breck is calling it quits a whole two weeks before they initially planned. Warm temps and lower-than-average snow totals are to blame.
Breck announced the May 15th closing date to Twitter yesterday afternoon:
Last call for last chair! After 185 days of skiing and riding, we will officially close out our 60th anniversary season on Sunday, May 15. Come join us for one final weekend of spring skiing and riding as we send off winter! pic.twitter.com/Pp5CTJnl62

A statement showing the intended May 30th closing date is still on Breckenridge’s website:
We may be biased but spring at Breck is one of our favorite times of year! We’re aiming to ski and ride through Memorial Day, May 30, or as long as the snow lasts. Check out our spring skiing page for more info!
Closing early is always a bummer, but I hope those of you with Epic passes enjoy one final weekend of skiing and riding in Colorado.
