The Bach Long Bridge is the third glass bridge in Vietnam, but it holds a unique distinction. The Daily Mail reports that the length of the Bach Long bridge is 2,073 feet, making it the longest glass-bottom bridge in the world. The tempered glass, which was produced in France, can hold 450 people at a time. Located in the Son La province, the new attraction is the latest attempt for Vietnam to bring back tourists following the darkest days of the pandemic. Nestled 490 feet above the Vietnamese jungle, the bridge is the newest attraction at the Moc Chau Island Mountain Park and Resort. The new bridge overtakes the 1,725-foot long Huangchuan Three Gorges Scenic Area glass bridge in Guangdong, China, which opened in 2020. The Guinness Book of World Records will visit the site in the coming weeks to certify it as the world’s longest glass-bottom bridge.
