Spring skiing is quickly becoming my favorite ‘type’ of skiing. I just can’t get enough of ripping slush, bathing in sunshine, and wearing less layers. I might sound crazy, but I think I might even like it more than powder skiing…
I was just scrolling through Twitter this morning when I saw the video below. It instantly spoke to me. This is what spring skiing is all about. This guy or gal just gets it.
The video was Tweeted by artist Lexi Dowdall. She creates awesome watercolor paintings of ski resorts using snow from each resort. I’ve been meaning to purchase her painting of Alta for a while. I think today is the day I finally do it! Any of her artwork would look awesome in my office.

Now, I should say, I don’t necessarily recommend laying down on a chairlift at your home resort. It’s dangerous, and your resort operator/lifties will not approve, but to each their own, ya know?
Just have fun out there this spring for me, okay?
