In a state with names like Mt. Bachelor and Mt. Hood Meadows, many don’t consider small ski areas like Warner Canyon. Thanks to the help of many locals, Warner Canyon has given the people in the town of Lakeview something to be proud about. Oregon Public Radio put together this great piece about the local figures that keep the mountain going. If you ever are driving through Lakeview, you should check this place out.
