Very cool wildlife sighting yesterday near Silverton, Colorado where Sabra St. Clair trained her camera on a lynx passing through a serene wintery landscape. By the 1990’s trapping, poisoning, and loss of habitat lead to the disappearance of lynx in Colorado but a 7 year reintroduction program in the San Juan Mountains has lead to an estimated 150-250 population in the Centennial State.
