Myoko Snowsports posted the insane photo below. It shows a chairlift completely buried by snow in the Myoko Kogen region in Japan. It doesn’t explicitly state which resort this photo was captured at in the region. A map of the 5 resorts in the region is shown above.

The region has been buried by over 700 inches of that primo JaPOW so far this season, and The caption states that this chairlift won’t be able to run.

Can you imagine? There’s so much snow that the resort has to give up on operating a lift for an entire season. Hard to even fathom something like that happening here in the US.

I guess that’s why they call it JaPOW, baby.
