14-year-old Henry Kendell, who died in a ski collision at Alta Ski Resort, was honored by classmates and community on Friday in Millcreek, Utah. Yellow ribbons covered the eighth grader’s neighborhood, as yellow was his favorite color, and friends and classmates gathered to share memories of the boy before his close family and friends attended his viewing. Henry’s death was, and still is, absolutely heartbreaking, and our condolences go out to those who knew him. This example of a community coming together to honor someone they cared about brings warmth to my heart.
