The snow wasn’t fantastic at Ordino Arcalis, Andorra, but that didn’t stop 20-year-old Freeride World Tour rookie Maxime Chabloz from sending it big.

Chabloz laced a massive transfer, a couple of nice 3’s, and a big laid out backflip to take the top spot.

Check out the winning run below!

Anybody else feel like Chabloz looks a little stiff? He’s clearly an awesome big mountain skier, but his form seems little unorthodox compared to what we’re used to seeing at the FWT level.

His stiffness clearly didn’t matter to the judges, and it shouldn’t! His line was sick, and he deserved to take 1st place. Well done! 👏
