“As a little 60th-anniversary surprise, we’d like to give you a look behind the curtains on one exciting project that we’ll be working on when the snow’s gone and the chairs are no longer spinning. This offseason, we’ll be replacing our current Mogul Monster triple passenger lift with a brand-new fixed-grip quadruple passenger chairlift. Looking a lot like our B-Dub lift, this quad will help us improve our uphill capacity and clear up a little more congestion in the base area compared to the current Mogul Monster Lift.”– Cascade Mountain

Out with the old, in with the new. Last week, Cascade Mountain in Wisconsin celebrated its sixtieth anniversary. They also announced last week that a new lift will be added to its base area. A new fixed-grip quad will replace the Mogul Monster triple chairlift, which has served the resort since 1987. The lift will service beginner, intermediate, advanced, and terrain park trails. Over this past offseason, the ski resort added more lights for night skiing and added a new glade.
