Check out all the winning runs from Kappl, Austria where Open Faces Freeride held an event over the weekend. The skiing and snowboarding is great but I have to point out the follow drone coverage is straight up next level. Whoever the drone pilot was working this event should hired for all the top events around the world. Incredible camera work:

VENUE:

Kappl turned from a secret spot for freeriders to one of the best known freeride areas in the alps within 7 years as it hosted twice the FWT after the FWT Stop in Fieberbrunn has to be dislocated to the Paznaun. Everything in and around Kappl is Freeride since then when the freeride virus took over this little village in the paznaun valley with it´s sunny slopes and endless freeride possibilities. Kappl is for sure one of the most impressive stops within the Open Faces contests. The top of the Quellspitze has an incredible view and provides a bunch of creative lines from speedy to very alpine, with flow sections and massive cliffs. And all the spectators have an all day sunny place in the public area.
