The TikTok star behind Canada's new—and less floppy—moose crossing sign - Macleans.ca
Old drawing on the left, Chloe’s drawing on the right

Chloe Chapdelaine was 18-years-old when she decided to do something about Canada’s less-than-accurate moose crossing signs. Chloe believe the current sign wasn’t very accurate, nor flattering, for Canada’s proud moose population. So, she did something about it.

Chloe sent in a new drawing to various branches of the Canadian government four years ago. She gave up hope that she’d ever hear back, but she has now received word that the government will slowly change moose crossing signs to her drawing.

The process will take years to replace all moose crossing signs, but good on Chloe for trying to do something to change those weird signs. Her drawing is significantly better in my opinion!
