Pretty surreal video here captured in Estes Park, CO earlier this morning. The video shows an entire herd of elk running to escape a wildfire burning in the area.
Wildlife specialists say that elk known when conditions aren’t safe and can run short distances to escape.
The elk are fleeing from the Kruger Rock Fire that has burned 75 acres as of 11AM MT near Estes Park. The fire broke out this morning and the cause is unknown at this time.
