The volcanic eruptions on Spain’s La Palma island off the coast of Africa has produced some absolutely crazy videos over the last few weeks.
The video below is of an enormous boulder being transported by a fast-moving lava river. It’s almost hard to believe how easily the lava can move the boulder, and it’s definitely a testament to the sheer force a volcano can unleash.
I’ve never seen a lava flow, let alone a volcano, so I can’t imagine how spectacular this must be to watch in person. At the same time, I feel for the people of La Palma that are surely going through a literal hell right now.
