“We literally arrived and I was kind of laughing to myself because there was a sticker on the urinal in the bathroom I was at that said ‘locals only’ and I was like, oh here we go.” –Kyle Cooke

Buckle your seatbelts Vermonters because Stowe is about to get its reality television debut. The New England ski destination played host to a cast of reality TV stars who took 17-day vacation back in February. The resulting footage will be aired as the reality tv series  ‘Winter House’ premiering on Bravo Wednesday, Oct. 20th. At least one of the cast has an actual connection to the area which he is quick to point out with the charming and unpretentious qualifier “pre-chairlift family”:

“Both sides of my family are pre-chairlift at Stowe, Vermont, so it’s a special place in my heart. On my dad’s side, both my grandparents are in the U.S. Ski Team Hall of Fame. My grandmother for skiing and my grandfather for playing such a big role in the industry.”  -Kyle Cooke

Like I said, all the filming was done back in February so you probably wont see these “celebrities” around town this season.  Who’s tuning in?
