This offseason at Catamount Mountain Resort could be the most transformative in the resort’s history. Last week, the mountain on the New York and Massachusetts border announced their new additions for this upcoming season. A new fixed-grip quad chairlift is replacing the Catamount Double and will service easy, intermediate, and advanced terrain. A new summit triple has also been added, replacing the Glade chairlift. Other improvements include a new snow tubing park with a magic carpet and night lights, immense snowmaking upgrades, new culinary and beverage options, new grooming equipment, more ski and snowboard rentals, a new season locker room, and technology upgrades. Since purchasing the resort in 2018, the Schaefer family has spent more than $15 million modernizing the mountain.

Catamount has also released some videos of the additions throughout the offseason, which you can check out below.
