Summit County commissioners met yesterday to discuss a proposed moratorium on short-term rentals. The cap would bring the nearly 2,500 short term licenses down to 2,200. Mayor Eric Mamula sees it as one way to address an ongoing workforce shortage.  September 28th is the final day the town council will discuss the matter before it goes into law. Tonight at 7pm there is opportunity for public comment. We will be sure to update this story as it develops.
