Well, I can officially add this video to my list of nightmare fuel. I don’t see the potential for my suburban town of Wisconsin to ever be affected by a tsunami caused by a calving glacier, but I just know I’m going to have a bad dream about it in the coming nights. It’s just how my dumb brains works.
Anyways, check out how this massive glacier breaking apart and collapsing creates a tsunami somewhere in Greenland. This might be the largest glacier calving I’ve ever seen. It’s unbelievable that they managed to capture this event on video. Well done!
