Everyone thinks of deer as a docile prey species but you do not want to be on the business end of those hooves if they chose to stand and fight. Check out this footage Nordic Mountain country park, Wisconsin, USA. The manager was trimming trees when he found a dead hawk and checked the security cameras to see how it got there. He ‘astonished’ when he saw the bird of prey swoop down on an unsuspecting rabbit below and deer come its rescue.
