“This bear did no harm so we had no problem letting him have a little fun at the expense of one of our float balls.”
Under the watchful eye of momma bear, this curious grizzly cub investigated a seaplane operated by Jacques Adventure Lodge to the entertainment of the pilot. The little rascal even made off a pacifier:
“A float-ball sits in a hole in the top of our pontoon and allows us to pump any internal water out of the floats so that we are not carrying excess water weight in our floats. They are easily replaced however and so we had no problem letting this bear take one. It’s mostly just funny to us how curious these bears are, especially the young ones.”
