Portland, Oregon just experienced a record heat wave that sent temperatures to an all time high 116 degrees Fahrenheit on Monday afternoon.
The city was sweltering and the bears at Oregon Zoo were in need of some ‘bear-conditioning’ so the zoo set up a nice cold fountain and pool.
Here’s to hoping the PNW never experiences temperatures like that again. 116 degrees in Oregon just isn’t right.
