HOW THE DO IT:
Measure
You have to know where you are to know where you are going. First, we’re creating estimates of our Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions which represent the entirety of our carbon footprint.
Offset
We balance the mount of carbon we create by buying carbon credits. The value of credits are established by international agreements such as the Paris Climate Agreement (yes, that’s what it was all about!).
Verify
Renoun works with Climate Neutral to verify and validates these offsets. This ensures we are held accountable by a third party so we know our offsets are legitimate and impactful.
Reduce
We’re working on a Reduction Action Plan (RAP) to further reduce our emissions over the next 12-24 months.
