94 riders age 4 through 66 participated at the annual Hill Climb event at Gunstock Ski Resort in Gilford, New Hampshire which involves racing motorcycles straight up a 35° slope for a raucous 10 second all out sprint. 5,000 spectators gathered at the base of the historic 70-meter Torger Tokle Memorial Ski Jump hill to cheer on the athletes. The Hillclimb, which officially started at Gunstock in 1946, is considered a highlight of Laconia Motorcycle Week.
