“We eyed this female calf moose on a small ledge at the base of a 200′ cliff beside the river. We jumped out of our boats and had this beauty on shore real quick. Hopefully she finds mom wherever she is.”

Hats off to these two kayakers on the Sheep River in Southwestern Alberta, Canada who came to the aid of a distressed moose calf after noticing it had become stranded above a dangerous stretch of rapids. Cheers to Scott Linton and The League of Beautiful Minds for a “quick and clean rescue of the cutest Canadian ever.” NICE ONE!
