Ever been walking up to the mountain with your kids and it’s taking forever because little Jimmy and baby Susie can’t keep their skis in their hands?

Or maybe you’re just tired of lugging around your massively heavy powder skis to reach your favorite sidecountry zone.

The Ski Pack is a light weight backpack that holds your skis no matter where you’re headed.

“Simplify your walk to the chair lift one pack at a time.

No one likes being stuck in the parking lot juggling ski equipment while trying to navigate their way to the ski lift. During the walk a child trips, asks to be carried, or just drops all their equipment. The stress level is HIGH and your day is just beginning.

With The Ski Pack everyone can carry their equipment with ease and eliminate the stress between the parking lot and chair lift.”

The packs start at just $30 and easily store away in your jacket pocket.

This is being marketed mostly towards families at the moment, but I see a huge potential for skiers who want to hike to terrain at Western resorts that don’t feel like lugging a big pack all day.

Think about how much easier it would be to hike Arapahoe Basin’s East Wall, or to reach Jupiter Peak at Park City if you could sling your sticks on your back rather than carrying them over your shoulder.

My only concerns would be the durability and reliability of this product since I haven’t seen one in person yet, but it seems like a great idea in theory!
