^Avalanche slide path (00:24)

The Utah Avalanche Center documented the aftermath of a massive avalanche that occurred in the Western Uintas just over a week ago.

The slide was hundreds of yards wide, and looking at the crown tells you all you need to know about serious this slide was.

That crown has easily got to be 8-12′. Thankfully, nobody was reported injured from this slide.

The video was posted to YouTube on 2/25. Conditions have dramatically improved across the state since then.

All observed zones are showing ‘Moderate’ or ‘Low’ risks according to the UAC at 12 PM ET on 3/8/21.

Remember to always ‘Know Before You Go’ and stay safe out there, friends.
