Two tragic deaths have occurred at Eldora Mountain Resort in the past 48 hours.
CBS4 Colorado is reporting that a 16-year-old skier died, yesterday, after hitting a tree on ‘Lower Ambush’.
It comes just after a 26-year-old snowboarder struck a tree on Sunday on ‘Jolly Jug’, he was pronounced dead that evening at a Denver hospital.
The recent deaths were preceded by a similar incident that led to a death in January. A man in his 50s hit a tree on ‘Corona’ on January 14th.
