Jackson Hole Mountain Resort Press Release: (Teton Village, Wyo. Feb. 15, 2021 ) It is with regret that Jackson Hole Mountain Resort (JHMR) reports a snowboarder was fatally injured at the resort yesterday.

At 5 pm Sunday, Feb. 14 a group reported their 27-year-old friend missing after last seeing him in the Grizzly Glade area off the Teton Lift at approximately 10:45 am.ย  A search was initiated by Jackson Hole Ski Patrol last evening until 8:45 pm, and resumed at 6:30 am today, with Grand Teton National Park, Teton County Search and Rescue and Teton County Sheriff all involved to support the effort to find the snowboarder.ย  He was discovered in a tree well earlier this morning where he was found unresponsive.

โ€œWe are saddened to report this fatality, and the staff at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort join me in expressing our deepest sympathies to the family and friends of the victims,โ€ commented Mary Kate Buckley, President of JHMR.
