David Lesh, the outdoor industry’s unequivocal bad guy, posted a photo to his Instagram of what appeared to be him ‘dropping a deuce’ in Maroon Lake back in October.

The internet exploded, and it appeared that Lesh had finally done enough for people to forget about his dumb brand and stop giving him the attention he clearly desires.

But then he posted this video to Instagram claiming that his recent stunts were all photoshopped. Warning- the video is NSFW.

Lesh posted the Maroon Lake pictures just days after he appeared in court for his Keystone, CO and Hanging Lake, CO incidents.

He agreed to not trespass on closed national forest lands and to abide by all rules and laws on those lands in that court hearing.

Investigators were suspicious that Lesh’s Maroon Lake dump was photoshopped, but federal judge Gordon Gallagher simply didn’t care.

The judge banned Lesh from entering any National Forest lands for the foreseeable future citing Lesh’s intentional negligence to court’s previous order.

The judge also noted that posting doctored photos with Lesh’s influence could inspire others to follow his actions, whether he actually did them or not.

Good. Don’t let this guy near any public land ever again. He’ll just use it as a marketing stunt to sell to 13-year-old rebels, and guys who slam Monster Energy drinks and Cheetos every day… Buh bye!
