Looks like a case where both vessels were obscured by blindspots until the point of impact as no one was yelling starboard or taking evasive maneuvers. Thankfully no one was seriously injured. Great reminder to never assume people to be paying attention to rights of way whether on the mountain or the open water. Be safe out there.
