I wanted to visualize the places I’ve skied, and the places I haven’t. To do this, I created a custom Google Map with the various ski areas I’ve visited over the years.

Keep in mind I grew up in Delaware (of all places), and therefore my skiing experiences are heavily skewed towards the Northeast, and major ski areas in Colorado, and Utah.
To be frank, I’ve got some work to do. My goal is to hit every state with a ski lift by the time I kick the bucket.
While there are plenty of states yet to be checked off the list that aren’t major ski destinations (sorry Iowa, Illinois, Alabama, etc.), here are the ski areas I’m absolutely itching to get to (once it’s safe to do so).
These ski areas may fly under-the-radar to other major destinations, and that’s exactly why they’re on my list!
