When Sage Kotsenburg won gold in the 2014 Sochi Winter Games, I think the snowboard community at large was proud that an athlete of his caliber still embodied what you’d want in a member of a tight knit little snowboard crew. A dude who’s quick to laugh, encouraging to others and rips the holy shit out of whatever lines in front of him. Since he step down from the podium in Russia, the Park City native has been non-stop filming in the backcountry.
