If you’re like me, this is the first time you’ve heard of the curiosity that is Eternal Flame Falls where a natural flame in a small grotto burns nearly year round. Located about 30 miles from Niagra Falls in Orchard Park, NY the waterfall’s base contains a “macro seep” which emits ethane and propane. It’s called eternal but it can be extinguished and occasionally has to be relit. Pretty neat!
