$5,000 fines and 18 months in jail, that is what the punishment could be for Summit County visitors who disregard their restrictions on temporary lodging. Those wanting to stay in rental properties in Summit County must make sure they have 10 people or less and those people can only be from two different households. The Sheriff says it would have to be egregious and repetitive violations for them enforce the mandate but they will if they have to.
