Two Summit County snowboarders are in deep shit for triggering an avalanche that buried a road in over twenty feet of snow. The pair are facing criminal charges for the incident that buried hundreds of feet of roadway above the west portal of the Eisenhower Tunnel. No one was buried in the slide but the two men were cited for reckless endangerment. We will update this story when more information is available.
