Just a dusting at Thredbo but it’s enough to get Aussie skiers and snowboarders to start thinking about straightening out their gear. No firm opening date for any Australian ski resorts, but rest assured they are actively working with government to open safely amid the pandemic. Here’s how Thredbo recently addressed the question of when they will open:

“We’re stoked on the lifting of the NSW travel ban that was announced today. A friendly heads up that unfortunately we’re not opening for skiing & boarding over the June long weekend. However, We’re working hard with Government authorities right now to deliver a COVID-Safe season. Stay tuned on an Opening Date ASAP. Bring it on.”
