I have found my idol. It’s not Candide, Bode, Mikaela, or Lindsey. It’s a man from Utah named Bruce McEwen who successfully skied in all 50 states. Yes, every single state in the union.
The Daily Herald interviewed McEwen about his journey that took just over 15 years. McEwen’s goal was to make 30 turns on natural snow in every state. This feat was much easier in some states than others of course. He even managed to grab turns in Florida on a gravel pit in the middle of the night.
