Not huge slide and some might even say sluff, but this dude was fortunate to have a rock wall to hang onto after the slope he was riding the Utah backcountry fractured 200 feet uphill and sent a rush of loose snow surging past him. Doesn’t take much to take you off your feet and from there it can get hairy quickly.  Good thing he kept his purchase and let this one safely slide by:

“I was snowboarding down this couloir in the Utah backcountry. I had suspicions that the slope might give way, so I approached it on high alert. I saw the slope fracture 200 feet in front of me and was able to grab ahold of the rocks to keep myself in place. After it all settled out, I continued down to the bottom.”
